Ben Hair Productions and The Friends of Classic Las Vegas are dedicated to helping preserve the 20th Century History of Las Vegas, NV. Over the last 8 years we have conducted over 130 video oral histories with long-time residents.

In addition, we do educational and cultural programming around the Las Vegas Valley where we bring long-time residents out to talk about the history that they witnessed and helped make. We are partnered with a number of cultural organizations around town in the effort to preserve oral histories, buildings and signs that played a significant role in the growth of Las Vegas.

We are currently involved in archiving and authoring to DVD the video oral histories that we have collected. When completed, the Classic Las Vegas Collection will be housed at the Nevada State Museum, Las Vegas, the Clark County Museum and UNLV’s Special Collections.
